Successful MultiPress integration at PunaMusta, Finland's largest printer

PunaMusta is one of the largest print production companies in Finland.  Producing around 600 magazines a year, production is spread across three large sites with three plants for offset, sheetfed and digital printing and another three plants for large format, both screen and digital - you could say that the Finnish company is a real all-rounder. In order to do away with island solutions and operate in one centralised and standardised manner, the Finnish company opted for the modular and comprehensive MIS software, MultiPress.

Growth, growth and more growth

PunaMusta used to be solely a magazine printer. When their business strategy was revised, a whole series of takeovers followed, from offset to large format companies. With these acquisitions came all the workflows and systems, so that at one point PunaMusta had five different MIS systems in use. This caused a lot of problems.  The different systems did not communicate with each other and were not suitable for the wide range of different printing techniques that PunaMusta uses. It was therefore logical that the Finnish team should look for one central MIS software that would:

• support all types of print production processes
• make it faster and easier to calculate prices
• give the management a comprehensive overview and control over the print jobs at the different sites
• meet all their administrative needs

MultiPress is the perfect solution

After some research, it became clear that MultiPress, the ERP/MIS software from Dataline, was the best choice for PunaMusta. Not only the Dataline team's extensive know-how, but the powerful API connections and the convenient Calculation Wizard were also decisive for the Finnish print production company.
