Smooth acquisition of Triprint thanks to MultiPress

Triprint from picturesque Kampen is a print production company with 30 years of experience. The company provides graphic services, succinctly summarised as print, sign and print, always with care to its customers. Recently, TriPrint has acquired a new owner, Robert Hans Gallas. This takeover was also the starting signal to switch from the Drumis management system to the fully-fledged MIS software MultiPress.

New plans for the future

The new owner Robert Hans Gallas has been active in the printing industry since 1992, at Plantijn, Giethoorn Group and Koninklijke Rijnja, among others. He knew Triprint as a nice and successful company, and when the previous owner wanted to sell the company, the ball soon started rolling.

Robert Hans Gallas sees a bright future: "I have clear future plans for Triprint. For instance, I took the decision quite quickly not to invest any more time in the Drumis software. The platform will not be developed further and we will make the switch to a better package anyway." The choice of MultiPress was obvious: Dataline, the company behind MultiPress, acquired Insad, the developer of Drumis, in 2019. Dataline supported Drumis while it could, and ensured a smooth migration from Drumis to MultiPress.

Gallas adds, "I was looking for a suitable business software that can also grow with my prospects for the company. For instance, I see potential to invest in large format, as we have enough space for that. We now have a Konica Minolta and a Xerox printer and various finishing options. There's room for some more, though."

Rapid implementation of MultiPress

Robert Hans Gallas sees that MultiPress ticks all the boxes and quickly decided to switch to our software. Implementation can start relatively quickly, as no additional hardware investment is required. Usually, a PC with the necessary hard disk space and a good processor is sufficient.

"The transition from Drumis to MultiPress went extremely smoothly. With MultiPress I can now process many more orders in the same time with the same number of employees," he adds.

MultiPress provides administrative support to Triprint in several areas. The customer relationship management module (CRM) keeps an overview of all information about your customers, prospects and suppliers. The quotation and order administration are done in the Commercial Management and Order Management modules, respectively. And the Calculation module with the Calculation Wizard fully automates price calculation. Moreover, a link to the existing accounting system was also realised.

With MultiPress, Robert Hans Gallas can easily restart his printing activities without having to worry about the administrative side of the business. At least that won't stand in the way of his future plans.
